Gabriel Herrera is a senior from State College, PA studying Philosophy and Jazz Studies. The only member of the senior class to be elected to the Columbia College Student Council all four years, he currently serves as the Senior Class Vice President. Similarly, he’s a “lifer” with the New Student Orientation Program and has been either an orientation leader or a crew captain every year he was eligible. Herrera has also been elected president of his fraternity and the inaugural president of the Fraternity and Sorority Life Hall Council. Student government aside, Herrera is an active NYC-based musician who has performed at venues such as Smalls Jazz Club and Lincoln Center while a student at Columbia.
