Health and Wellness
Lori is a senior studying biomedical engineering who has been focused on advancing health and wellness at Columbia. She has been a member of Columbia University Emergency Medical Service (CUEMS) for over two years, notably working closely with Columbia Health and Columbia Public Safety as the Chief of Operations in 2022. She also was the Co-President of Biomedical Engineering Society and served on Engineering Student Council, where she worked to promote student wellbeing. Lori is also an undergraduate researcher in the Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering under Professor Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic throughout her time at Columbia using engineered cardiac tissues to study cardiomyopathy. She will be pursuing an MD/PhD upon graduation.
