Aiman is being recognized for his commitment to community on campus and greatly impacting the Muslim community on campus. His work and impact on the Muslim community at Columbia stands as a testament to Aiman’s incredible leadership and commitment to inclusion and community building. Apart from his involvement in Muslim life, Aiman has dedicated the majority of undergraduate experience to cultivating community within the Engineering Recruitment Committee. Through expanding the ERC, adapting to a virtual environment during the pandemic, and training new members, Aiman has served a pivotal role in expanding SEAS outreach to prospective high school students. It is with the utmost pleasure and conviction that I nominate Aiman Najah for the Community Building award.
