Health and Wellness
Sarah is an undergraduate senior who is double majoring in Neuroscience and Ethnic and Race Studies with a pre-medical specialization. She is being recognized for her work as an EMT for Columbia University Emergency Medical Services (CUEMS) and a co-chair for Columbia Mentoring Initiative (CMI). During her time on CUEMS, she has worked as a member, DEI chairman, Director's Lieutenant, and CPR instructor, where she has dedicated countless hours to promoting the health and wellness of the Morningside Heights community through her services. In her role as a co-chair for the CMI Mixed Heritage Family Tree, she has also worked for several years to create a welcoming community for students, and provide the necessary resources to support the well-being of members. Her dedication to ensuring the physical, mental, and emotional wellness of members of the Columbia community is being recognized here today.
I would like to thank my family and friends for their endless support and encouragement throughout my time at Columbia. i would also like to express my gratitude for the opportunities granted to me during my time at the university.
