Award Recognition
Senior Marshal
Adrys is being recognized for her contributions to improving inclusivity and health awareness on campus. Her role as Crew Chief in Columbia University's Emergency Medical Services (CUEMS) has allowed her to give back to the Harlem and Morningside Heights community while preparing her for her future career aspirations in medicine. Adrys has also worked for years in developmental research and volunteered in mentorship programs such as ReadAhead for elementary and middle school children. In addition to that, she has also started initiatives such as Black Unchained, aimed to have a greater intersectional approach to Black advocacy. Adrys hopes to do much more in her post-graduate and is excited for what's to come.
Thank you to all of the people that have supported me these past four years! It has been some grueling times and I can't believe I made it this far, but I am so excited about what comes next. Gracias a mi familia y amigos por todo su amor. Los quiero!
