Award Recognition
Inclusion and Advocacy
Richard H. Fox Memorial Prize
Euni Elisabeth Lee is receiving the Inclusion and Advocacy Award for her positive contributions to Columbia’s LGBTQ+ undergraduate community. As a fourth-year member of the Queer and Trans Advisory Board through Multicultural Affairs, Euni provides critical feedback to university offices and ensures that campus services and resources are accessible and effective for LGBTQ+ students of color. She has also worked on projects such as the Queer and Trans Wellness Guide and most recently, the 2023 LGBTQ+ Student Survey. Euni also served as an Under1Roof Student Facilitator during the summers of 2021 and 2022. In this capacity, she provided mentorship for fellow facilitators and led incoming first-years in a critical dialogue on diversity, equity, inclusion, and personal accountability. Euni’s commitment to diversity and inclusion are reflected in her studies in English and Ethnicity and Race Studies, as well as her post-graduation plans to attend law school and pursue public interest law.
Thank you to my family, friends, and Multicultural Affairs! I am honored to advocate on behalf of and be part of such a formidable community.
