Aaron is a senior in Columbia College majoring in Biology. As the leader of the Podcasts committee in the Columbia Systems Biology Initiative (SBI), he has led undergraduates to interview professors at Columbia about their biological research as a part of the Columbia University Bio Bytes podcast. He also founded the Columbia University BioWorks podcast which interviews individuals involved in life science business, entrepreneurship, policy, and investment. Aside from SBI, Aaron is also involved as a research assistant in the Firestein Lab in the Department of Biology where he investigates the effect of fragrant molecules on serotonin receptors. Outside of biology, Aaron works as the lead coordinator of the Columbia Student Health Outreach Program which operates at local soup kitchens and food pantries to connect clients with benefits like health insurance.
