Award Recognition

Columbia Spirit
Emily is grateful for this award and for the opportunity to contribute to so many meaningful communities at Columbia. Emily has been a university cheerleader for all four years and has enjoyed greeting students and families at games and supporting Columbia’s football and basketball teams while challenging herself as an athlete. Having contributed to Columbia’s orientation program for three years, she also served as the chair of the program in 2021, in which she was fortunate to welcome the class of 2025 to campus. A double-major in Political Science and Linguistics, she has also been involved with the Linguistics Department as a Teaching Assistant and a leader of several political science clubs on campus, including Pi Sigma Alpha, Athena Pre-Law Society, and the Columbia Policy Institute.
Thank you to my friends and family for supporting me and my never-ending love of Pantone 292!
