Senior Marshal
As River Canoeing program coordinator for the Columbia Outdoor Orientation Program (COÖP), Lynne worked to develop more inclusive leader hiring practices, plan a pre-orientation trip for over 200 incoming first year students, and ensure the longevity of the program. She has also served as an NSOP leader, and has continued advocating for a positive NSOP and pre-orientation experience for all students new to Columbia. Additionally, she has worked to address student concerns within her academic department as Vice President of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists. Lynne is passionate about sustainability and socially responsible engineering, and plans to work in clean energy development after graduation.
Thank you to COÖP's advisor Andrew Brugman, Christian Palomares and Makena Kiara for being amazing co-coordinators, and all of the leaders who have made this program so impactful. I am also incredibly thankful for my friends and family for their love, guidance, and support over these 4 years.
