Senior Marshal
Xavier Thibault is recognized for his leadership within the Columbia Athletics community and beyond. Not only is Xavier a senior on the football team, but he also serves as the secretary on the student-athlete advisory committee, as a mentor for fellow pre-med student-athletes, and as one of the building managers at Dodge Fitness. Outside of athletics, Xavier also works as a peer tutor, volunteers in the Kalderon lab performing stem cell research, is certified as an EMT, and is a crisis responder and mental health advocate with Crisis Text Line. He also serves as president of Be The Match at Columbia, where he encourages peers to register as potential bone marrow donors to grow the national bone marrow registry.
I'd like to thank my friends and family for helping me get through the last 4 years, and through the mess that is COVID-19. Thank you to those I worked with for your patience, guidance, and trust. Finally, I thank my teammates and coaches for giving me room to grow as a team player and as a leader, and I will forever be grateful to have been a Lion.
