Community Building
Kelsey is a February 2022 Columbia College graduate, earning her degree in Economics. She was a three-time captain of the Columbia University Field Hockey team. Most recently, she was the first player in program history to be named to the U.S Women’s National Field Hockey Team. At Columbia, Kelsey was impactful both on and off the field with Columbia field hockey and also in the broader CU Athletics community. She engaged in several leadership workshops, helped build team culture, and volunteered with both Sophie Gerson Healthy Youth and Strong Girls United Foundation, mentoring middle schoolers and growing the game. In the greater Columbia Athletics community, she was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee which gives student-athletes a voice within the community and greater Ivy League conference. Additionally, she contributed to the Athletics community as part of the Communications staff during basketball season.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Columbia University because of all that it has given me. To my parents, thank you for your constant love and support. I would also like to thank my family, friends, professors, coaches, and especially my teammates who have made this experience so meaningful. Columbia and CUFH will always hold a special place in my heart.
