Sylvie is a student of American Studies and Sustainable Development. She is also a member of the Columbia University Fencing Team. After taking a voluntary leave of absence for the 2020-2021 academic year to pursue internships in clean energy and public policy, she returned to campus for her final year. Sylvie is incredibly honored to be a recipient of the Leadership and Excellence Award, Columbia Spirit. She has tried her utmost to embody the leadership qualities of her fencing, social, and academic communities at Columbia. To Sylvie, this award is a product of the leadership of these communities who have helped to build her up and propel her to where she is today.
