There is not a part of the Latinx community that Milagro Chavez-Cisneros has not been involved in, supported or influenced in some way. She has served on the executive board of multiple Latinx organizations including as co-chair of Alianza, closing ceremony chair of Latinx Heritage Month, and treasurer of the Student Organization of Latinxs (SOL) for the past three years. She has also served on the Latinx Graduation committee each year. Additionally, as a resident of Casa Latina, Milagro spearheaded the process of Casa Latina being selected for the 542 W. 114th St. brownstone which transformed the community.
