Senior Marshal
Ari Jones is being recognized for their deep understanding of intersectional identities that allows a deeply nuanced way he approaches her scholarship, leadership, and activism. Ari has been a cornerstone of QTBIPOC spaces at Columbia throughout their four years. Ari has held multiple leadership roles (including Co-President of the Women of Color Pre-Law Society), but has had the most impact as President of Proud Colors, the QTBIPOC student organization at Columbia University. Under Ari's leadership, Proud Colors has not only become a social home for QTBIPOC students but also a resource-sharing hub, and support network for students, particularly during the pandemic.
I would like to thank Proud Colors, Columbia University Women of Color Pre-Law Society, and my closest friends. You are my chosen family.
