Principled Action
Jacqueline Erler is a pre-medical student who dedicates herself to principled action at Columbia. As a research assistant in the Psychology Deptartment, she studies associations between daily life stressors and health outcomes, helping to address mental wellness and stress culture on campus. She is a leader in Students for Health Education, Access, and Literacy, a club dedicated to teaching health education classes to 9th graders in under-resourced NYC high schools. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacqueline collaborated on and led the development of Columbia Science Review's COVID-19 Public Hub, which aims to provide accessible, engaging, and informative COVID-related information to the Columbia community. She also works with Columbia Health as a ROAR @ Columbia Facilitator and NSOP Leader, hosting important conversations with incoming freshman on mental health, coping, and stress management.
I am sincerely honored and want to thank my friends, family, professors, and mentors for their unconditional support.
