Amber Zhao is recognized for her selfless service to the Columbia community amidst the frenzy of the COVID-19 pandemic. When students were scrambling to move out of their dorms in March 2020, Amber assisted her peers with packing and mailing their belongings. When students began moving back in in September 2020, Amber helped them unpack and buy groceries for those that were in quarantine. Every semester for the last four years, she has offered meal swipes to students in need and has shared countless meals, especially during finals season. Amber's kindness and demonstration of humanity exude Columbia Spirit.
