Crystal Taveras is being recognized as a Senior Marshal for the Columbia College Class of 2021 because of her achievement in academics and co-curricular activities. Crystal has promoted inclusivity in all the spaces she inhabits and throughout her numerous leadership roles on campus. This is evident through her role with Grupo Quisqueyano, as an organizer for the Latinx Heritage Month Fashion Show, and as the Social Media and Public Relations Chair for Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority Incorporated. Crystal's nominator said she is 'in awe of Crystal's love and dedication for the campus community.'
