Francesca Barasch has demonstrated civic responsibility through her involvement in the foundation of two on-campus clubs, ColumbiaVotes and CU Planned Parenthood. Through ColumbiaVotes, she has led phone banks, tabled outside Butler, and promoted accessible voter registration programs to Columbia students. As the Vice President of CU Planned Parenthood, Francesca leads a team of campus leaders who are united in promoting reproductive justice and healthy reproductive norms on campus. She has organized speakers and events to help educate her sorority about voting and reproductive rights. Her tireless efforts have helped the Columbia College community as a whole become connected to resources to become more civically engaged.
