Innovation and Enhancement
Astrid Liden is being recognized for the Innovation and Enhancement for her contributions to the office of Undergraduate Admissions for the development of the College Search Advice Series, a new program aimed at helping juniors in high school through the college search and admissions process. She designed three presentations and presented them in sessions to three groups of 2,500+ high school students and college counselors virtually. Her nominator said, 'I'm nothing short of impressed by her professionalism, her dedication to our office (Admissions) and this work.' The College Search Advice Series is now being adapted by Admissions for social media, which only goes to show the impact of Astrid's program design.
I am endlessly grateful to God, first and foremost, to the Admissions Office and my nominators, to Matriculate and my fellow advising fellows, and to my professors and friends. Thank you, especially, to my family: mom, brother and grandmother! First and foremost all thanks and all glory be to God.
