Indelible Mark
Krishna has served as a Vice President of the Columbia College Student Council for the last 2 years. As this year's VP of Policy on CCSC, he has written proposals for more flexible academic grading for the last four semesters that have been passed by the Committee on Instruction. In addition, he's worked closely on several initiatives to better the lives of low-income students on campus, such as securing meals and FLEX dollars for those on campus over winter break. On the student council, Krishna leads the Academics task force, which attempts to find ways to better the academic lives of students at Columbia and drafts recommendations to the Committee on Instruction. Through his initiatives and generosity, Krishna has played an integral part in improving the spirit of his Columbia peers— particularly during the challenging period of online learning. Krishna is also involved with Columbia SHARP a cappella, and is a Print Editor at the Undergraduate Law Review.
Thank you to the rest of CCSC for all of their incredibly hard work throughout this year. Thank you to Emme and Addison for being my best friends and a little slice of home during my time at Columbia. To Rads, thank you for being the lifeblood of this campus and a truly incredible BFF, and to Elsa, thank you for giving me hope in the future of CCSC, you are an inspiration.
