Honor Clements is receiving the Innovation and Enhancment King's Crown Leadership and Excellence Award for her contributions to the Athletics community. Honor is one of the co-founders and co-presidents of the Columbia Chapter of Athlete Ally, which is a national non-profit that works to end homophobia and transphobia in sport and athletic spaces by creating a more inclusive environment for the LGBTQ+ community. As a senior on the women's rowing team, Honor has been a consistent and active participant in Athlete Ally's ongoing meetings and has helped bring outreach coordinators onto the Athlete Ally team to help ensure the chapter's longevity.
