Bassel El-Rewini has been selected to represent the Columbia College graduating class as a senior marshal. He exemplifies leadership, cares deeply about fostering community, and strives to advocate for others. In addition to participating in CU Strive, a mentoring, tutoring and peer-support group for youth with Sickle Cell Disease, Bassel serves as the Vice-President for the Columbia College Class of 2021 and has read with elementary school students to improve their literacy and social skills. Bassel's dedication and altruism have proven that he is a positive force both on and off campus.
