Kathy Lau has been selected to represent the Columbia Engineering graduating class as a senior marshal. She has demonstrated global citizenship, particularly through her time in Australia, from which she led conversations surrounding cultural and educational system differences between countries. She also worked on a COVID tracing and digital passport project to help individuals share their testing and health status easily. Her open-mindedness, creativity, and commitment to encouraging other students to embrace each others' communities and cultures has been a positive force within the community.
