Get creative with your scream: 

  • Include your family or friends

  • Explain what you are doing to a stranger and ask them to join you

  • Feel free to record inside or outside or both

  • Stand still or make some moves

Remember:

No matter your scream-style, be sure to adhere to social distancing guidelines and the norms of your community. Follow your community’s quiet hours or noise restrictions. Remember that if you are on Columbia University’s campus, you need to be wearing your face mask. You are encouraged to let your neighbors, roommates, or family know you will be screaming so they do not become concerned!
