What is a USL Preferred Vendor?
A USL Preferred Vendor is an approved Columbia University vendor/supplier who accepts the USL Purchase Request form in person at their establishment or online submitted by our student groups and/or administrative programs. Once the service is provided, the USL Preferred Vendor will email the invoice to USLadmin@columbia.edu for Administration and Planning to submit the invoice for payment and charge the designated student group and or administrative program's chartstring.

How to Recommend New USL Preferred Vendors

University Approved Promotional Vendors
If you would like to purchase promotional items for your group, select one of the University's approved promotional vendors. The vendors listed are licensed by the University to use trademarks in manufacture of emblematic product. These companies are members of the Fair Labor Association, certify that their factory sources are in compliance with Columbia's Code of Conduct, and have agreed to certain guidelines regarding monitoring. If a vendor is not licensed, they have not been granted the rights to use Columbia University's trademarks and are not permitted to manufacture or provide products bearing the Columbia name or logos. As part of the overall program review, Columbia University considers new promo/internal license applicants each summer.
