Undergraduate Student Life advisors request that groups complete the Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form in order to better assist advisors with negotiating space reservations for student group events taking place during Fall 2018. Remember, your Pre-Calendaring submission in Virtual EMS must be submitted BEFORE you complete the Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form. The form's ranking system allows for you to clearly communicate your priorities to us as we represent your group. We know that you think the time, date, day of the week, and location are all "very important". However, when you step back and consider your request, you may realize that having your event on a certain day of the week is actually more important than having it on a specific date. Likewise, you may decide that any date is fine as long as you can get a specific location during evening hours. Ranking the importance of all of these categories will help guide us as we work to accommodate your needs.
Pre-calendared events scheduled within the first 10 days of classes that require an event review to be confirmed, must be reviewed before the conclusion of the prior academic term. This applies to events scheduled from September 4 - 17, 2018. The deadline to have the event review for Fall 2018 is May 3, 2018.
We ask that you submit a Pre-Calendaring Additional Information Form for your group’s major events no later than Sunday, April 15 by 11:59 p.m.
