James immigrated to the United States in 2013 from his native country Cameroon. After spending nearly two years learning English (native French speaker), he pursued his studies at Hudson County Community College before transferring to Columbia University where he earned a B.A. in Computer Science. As a father of two children, he maintained a professional life while attending school to provide for his family. James recently started his dream job as a software developer with General Motors in Austin, Texas and planning to further his studies to obtain his masters degree.
