Bio

Christopher Thompson, who never would have made it half this far without the endless support of his mother, graduates summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and as the Valedictorian of the General Studies Class of 2021. During his time on campus, he served the Columbia community in many ways, including as the President of the General Studies Student Council and the co-founder and Vice President of the Columbia Recovery Coalition, an organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting those in recovery from substance abuse, emotional disorders, and traumas. Upon graduation, Christopher will begin postgraduate study in anthropology at The New School for Social Research.
