Part 7 opened with a hidden morsel from the Newport Rebels festival and began with the second set of the legendary Five Spot concert followed by Booker Little's fourth and final record as a leader, concluding with his last record dates which were the Percussion Bitter Sweet sessions between 8/1 and 8/9/61. Booker Little died on October 5, 1961 of uremia.

Part 5 of the Booker Little Memorial Series: 12/21/60-4/4/61. The first three tunes on the Out Front sessions recorded 3/17/61 and feature Art Davis on bass. The last four tunes for Out Front sessions recorded 4/4/61 and feature Ron Carter on bass.
The David S. Ware Memorial begins Friday, October 19th at noon and will run until 6am on Saturday October 20th.
