Studio A With Matthew Di Paoli and Stephen Cicirelli

The following is a recording of live readings and interviews with Matthew Di Paoli and Stephen Cicirelli. Matthew Di Paoli received his BA at Boston College where he won the Dever Fellowship and the Cardinal Cushing Award for Creative Writing. He has also been nominated for the 2015 and 2016 Pushcart Prize and won the Prism Review Short Story Contest. Matthew earned his MFA in Fiction at Columbia University. He has been published in Post Road, The Great American Literary Magazine, Neon, Bartelby Snopes, The Soundings Review, and Gigantic literary magazines among others. He is the author of Killstanbul with El Balazo Press and teaches Writing and Literature at Monroe College.
A native of New Jersey, Stephen earned his MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, where he studied with Mary Gordon, Gary Shteyngart, Sam Lipsyte, and Jonathan Dee. His writing has been featured in the KGB reading series, here in New York City, and has appeared in Quick Fiction, The Brooklyn Rail, 100 Word Story, Cardinal Sins, and Eunoia Review. He is currently a full-time faculty member in the Writing Program at Saint Peter’s University, in Jersey City. Some of his scholarly interests include the theology and philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard, and the intersection of religion and political theory.
