Kyrena joined the Student Engagement team in September 2016. Prior to Columbia, Kyrena earned her master's degree in higher education and student affairs administration at the University of Vermont (UVM), worked in Residential Life at UVM and oversaw New Student Orientation at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Growing up in Brooklyn, Kyrena always loved New York and all it has to offer.
