Policy on Incompletes (CC & SEAS)

Dear Columbia College and Engineering Students:

All of us in the Center for Student Advising hope that you are well and doing your best to take good care of yourself as you prepare to enter Study Days and Final Examination Period.

Knowing that this can be a difficult time, I wanted to take a moment to ensure that you are fully informed about the best way to proceed in case of an emergency during final exams.

Applied Math, Applied Physics, and Materials Science Open House (10/16)

Mechanical Engineering Open House (10/20)

Information session for students interested in declaring Mechanical Engineering as a major/minor.  Learn about our degree program, research opportunities and take a tour of the ME lab facilities!

CC Pass/D/Fail & SEAS Pass/Fail Deadlines: TODAY (3/27)

The last day for CC students to choose the Pass/D/Fail grading option and for SEAS students to choose the Pass/Fail grading option for spring 2014 is THIS THURSDAY, March 27.

You must fill out an Add/Drop form and turn it in to the Center for Student Advising (403 Lerner) before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27.

Columbia College Pass/D/Fail Deadline is THIS THURSDAY (3/27)

The last day for CC students to choose the Pass/D/Fail grading option and for SEAS students to choose the Pass/Fail grading option for spring 2014 is THIS THURSDAY, March 27.

FOR SEAS SENIORS INTERESTED IN THE MS EXPRESS PROGRAM (10/28)

An information session for Columbia University undergraduate students is scheduled about the SEAS  “MS Express” application process, a simplified application to MS programs for seniors with a 3.500 or better GPA.

Please attend this session to learn more about this simplified application process. Representatives from the departments will be on hand during the Q & A session to address any questions students may have about MS programs in specific  departments.
