The Columbia University Tea Club is the only student organization at Columbia solely dedicated to highlighting the arts and culture of tea. We are a community of students united by a shared interest in fostering informed dialogue around tea across cultures, traditions, and practices. Throughout the academic year, the club hosts educational and community-oriented events including bi-weekly tea tastings, workshops and demonstrations, guest speaker events, and tea-related socials. We also collaborate with other Columbia student groups and members of the broader New York City tea community—including tea professionals, educators, and producers—to expand students’ engagement with tea traditions and contemporary tea culture.
