Columbia Repertory Ballet was created to give dancers at Columbia opportunities to learn and perform repertoire (existing works) from the classical ballet canon as well as from contemporary ballets in a professional rehearsal setting. Our dancers range from pre-professional dancers (seriously trained dancers throughout high school) to current and retired professional ballet dancers. Columbia University attracts so many talented ballet dancers and we wanted to give our members the ability to keep their dancing passions alive in addition to their diverse academic pursuits.
