Ballet Folklorico Cielito Azul is Columbia University’s first Ballet Folklorico dance group, dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich, diverse traditions of Mexico through the artistry of folk dance. Open to all, we welcome anyone passionate about exploring Mexican culture. Through accessible lessons and vibrant performances, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for Mexican heritage while building a community that honors the beauty and resilience of its traditions.
