Born and raised on Long Island, NY, David attended Wesleyan University and received his BA in Theater. He later earned an MFA in Theater Directing from UCLA and has trained and worked in several performing arts disciplines: dance, music and theater. David believes that a perfect day includes a relaxed picnic in the park with his family and friends, while a perfect night is seeing a great performance and having an incredible meal.
