Description
Wildlife Medicine Internships at The Center are variable in length and are free of charge. Housing is available on a very limited basis for a fee of $50.00 a week. The Center treats approximately 3,000-5,000 native and naturalized wild animals representing 225 species per year. Student interns perform as the primary work force of the Center. They are responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of a nonprofit wildlife animal hospital. All skills are taught to the students by full-time, on staff veterinarians, a certified veterinary technician, an office manager and a resource development officer
