Description
For nearly 40 years, the Department of Pharmacology has sponsored a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) designed to introduce college students to basic laboratory research. This 10-week program is sponsored by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET). The program is aimed at providing students with background and skills essential for a career in pharmacological or other bioscience research. Our mission is to train and foster the next generations of researchers and medical or pharmacy doctors who will have a deep understanding and passion for the scientific basis of their careers.
