Summer Surgery Program (SSE@UC) is a 2 week intensive experience for college students to learn more about surgery through lectures, observation, and hands-on experiences. The program costs $510. This includes all activities, all supplies, all local transportation costs, and some meals. Housing costs an additional $490. This includes double occupancy at a hotel within walking distance of the medical center. A shuttle operates between the two campuses.
Eligibility:
You must be at least 18 years of age and have completed at least one year of college in order to participate in this program. (Current college freshmen may apply.)This program is highly selective. Strong preference will be given to rising juniors and seniors with a GPA of 3.4 and higher in science coursework.
