The MED Program provides a demanding academic core on the level of beginning medical/dental studies in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Microbiology/Immunology and Clinical Biochemistry. It also may include a special dental theory and technique course for pre-dental students as well as individualized work in learning, study, reading and test-taking skills. Seminars, workshops, pre-professional counseling and orientation to the medical and dental school environment will also be provided.

Eligibility: 
Criteria for selection are based on a number of factors including 1) showing educational promise and a strong commitment to a health career but lack of past opportunities (educational, social and economic) that may place a student from a nontraditional background at a disadvantage in seeking admission and successfully entering medical or dental school. 2) Must have completed at least 3 years of college coursework including Organic Chemistry.
