Gateways to the Laboratory Program will enable students to test and develop their interest in pursuing a combined MD/PhD while gaining hands on research experience. The program will include weekly seminars, hospital rounds, and discussions of career opportunities from a clinical perspective. Students will also learn how to apply for MD/PhD, study tips for MCAT, tips for writing a scientific CV, mock interviews etc. Housing will be provided at subsidized cost and students will receive stipend of $4300.

Eligibility: 
Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, members of a minority or under-represented group in scientific and medical professions; rising sophomores or juniors with a 3.0 GPA, having an interest in MD/PhD degree.
