Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) is designed to expose students to clinical observations, optometric orientation, site visits, and group sessions on optometry school and learning skills seminars. Students will learn to develop and present a research project. Students will be given a stipend of $250 a day to defray the cost of transportation and lunch. Books and supplies will be provided free of charge.

Eligibility: 
Underrepresented minority and economically disadvantaged students who are State residents of New York and currently attending an accredited college or university are eligible. Preference is given to sophomores and juniors in high academic standing and other students are considered if there are unfilled slots.

2 weeks May 22 –June 3
