Medical/Dental Preparatory Program (MDPP) is designed in two tracks. Track one is for students who will be taking the August MCAT or DAT. The program will focus on test preparation. Track two is designed for all other students and consists of basic medical sciences course emphasizing essential principles of cell and molecular biology correlated to problem based learning case studies. There is a $1000 stipend; room and board is also provided.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent graduates of pre-professional schools who have traditionally been underrepresented in the health professions. Applicants should have completed some college coursework in biology and chemistry (preferably through organic chemistry). Previous laboratory experience is desirable.
