Libraries

The libraries serve as gathering places for pursuing scholarly research, writing papers, and studying. The Library Information Office (LIO) answers students’ general questions about any of the libraries’ resources and hosts a number of workshops throughout the year to help students familiarize themselves with the variety of services available.

Your student can access 21 libraries within a system which ranks as one of the top five academic libraries in the nation. The collections include over 12 million volumes, thousands of current journals and serials, and an extensive collection of electronic resources, manuscripts, rare books, microforms, maps, and graphic and audiovisual materials.

Does your son/daughter prefer studying in the residence halls? Ask A Librarian is an online service that allows students to chat their questions to librarians Monday-Saturday from the comfort of their chosen workspace.
