<p><strong>**</strong>This event is <strong>in-person. </strong>All participants must<strong> bring proof of vaccination</strong> and<strong> a paper mask. (Paper masks are easier to climb with!)**</strong></p>
<p><strong>When</strong>: Wednesday, <strong>Sept 22nd</strong> (<strong>meet at 11:45am</strong>; tour begins at 12pm)</p>
<p><strong>Where</strong>: Meeting on <strong>steps of St. John the Divine (1047 Amsterdam Ave.)</strong></p>
<p><strong>What</strong>: Climb the spiral staircases 124 feet up to the top of the largest cathedral in the world! At over 125 years old, the landmarked building contains an assortment of architectural styles, from the Romanesque columns to the neo-Gothic vaulting, as well as many examples of "sacred geometry." </p>
<p>On your way up, you will be guided through the histories of the building's stained glass and sculptures. You will learn about the cathedral's grand arches and dome and their connections to other New York architectural icons. Once at the top, get ready to snap a few pictures, as you take in a panorama of Manhattan.</p>
