Worried about doing well in Frontiers of Science, or just want some inside tips on how to succeed in the class? Join First-in-Family Programs for a seminar on how to excel in the course. Led by FroSci Director Dr. Ivana Hughes and Chair Prof. David Helfand, the workshop will provide tips on how to tackle the course requirements and think scientifically. The session will also provide an opportunity to discuss any anxieties or questions you might have. Dr. Hughes and Prof. Helfand are interested in hearing about your experiences in the course so far, and your ideas for how they and the course faculty can help you to feel successful in the class. The workshop is designed for first-generation, first-year students in Columbia College and General Studies, as well as transfer students who are in their first year at Columbia. Remember you must register for the event--seating is limited.
