Peer Adviser Post: Get Out There and EXERCISE!

Now that summer is just around the corner, everyone wants to look their best and one of the healthiest and most effective way to do this is to exercise!   I know that at a school as academically challenging as Columbia, exercise can continue to be something that is not prioritized.  Here are some simple tips to help you integrate exercise into your college life.

Columbia Journalism School is offering three credit-bearing courses for undergraduates. Spend your summer study learning how to shoot video using professional-grade equipment and software, write new algorithms and code to expose a newsworthy story, and explore the New York City cultural and arts world with exclusive behind-the-scenes visits and lectures.

The 2016 Berick Center for Student Advising survey is an opportunity to help us enhance your advising experience by providing important feedback.

The survey will only take about 10 minutes to fill out and you will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple Watch Sport! Students who respond by Friday, April 22 (new extended deadline!) will also be entered into a lottery for a chance to win a $50 flex spending card good at all 12 on-campus dining locations, as well as at the University Bookstore, campus copy machines, laundry facilities, and vending machines.

The semester is winding down which means that Fall Registration is upon us! Maybe you can finally take that class that you on the waitlist on last semester. This registration period is especially important for current first years, because your second year is when you should start really thinking about your major. SEAS students declare in the fall of their sophomore year, and CC students declare in the following spring.
