Columbia Design Challenge: Urban Water

The Design Challenge is focused around bringing innovative engineering, planning and policy solutions to the multi-faceted challenge of Urban Water. Interdisciplinary teams might consider devising solutions to challenges of access, distribution and storage of water and its quality; challenges around collection and treatment of wastewater; challenges around addressing effects of extreme weather causing floods and mudslides.

We invite students, postdocs, faculty and staff from all schools to participate.

The Columbia Aging Center is delighted to offer its 10-week Robert N. Butler Summer Internship Program, specifically for Columbia 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduates.
These 10-week positions come with a stipend of $4000 and offer access to Columbia’s community of scholars working on aging and life course research and policy implications of a society of longer lives. Students will develop skills and acquire knowledge that will benefit them in pursuit of future studies and careers.
