Urban Studies Program Planning Meeting
Monday, April 15
Diana Center Room LL 104 - Barnard Campus
Please join us for our Spring 2013 informational meeting, where we will give a general overview of the courses being offered next term, answer questions about our curricular requirements, and discuss the unique opportunities that the Barnard–Columbia Urban Studies program has to offer.
All Urban Studies majors, faculty members, and prospective students are invited to attend. Pizza and drinks will be served.
Advanced program filing has begun, so here are some resources to help you plan your schedule:
- Fall 2013 Urban Studies Courses for a list of all courses our department is offering next term;
- Fall 2013 A/B/C Courses for all known courses that fulfill requirements A, B, and C.
While we try to be as accurate and comprehensive as possible with these lists, they are always subject to change; we will be making updates as new information and courses are brought to our attention. Of course, if you see any errors, omissions, or information that is otherwise unclear, feel free to contact me anytime and I'll try to clarify or fix the issue.
PROGRAM PLANNING MEETING
Also, please keep in mind that our next Program Planning Meeting is Monday, 4/15 (a week from today) at 6 PM in Diana LL 104 (details attached below). At this meeting, we'll be discussing our Fall 2013 courses in-depth, and giving an overview of how the Urban Studies major curriculum fits together.
If you have questions about what courses to take, the Program Planning Meeting is a good opportunity to talk to us directly. If you'd prefer to meet with us one-on-one to discuss the specifics of your program, please see the Office Hours section of our website.
Finally, if you are a current junior applying for your senior seminar, be sure to enroll in your first choice and then download an application from our Forms and Resources page. The deadline for getting your applications in is Friday, April 19. I'll send you another email about this separately.
