Pass/D/Fail Uncover Deadline is this Friday (1/29)

The deadline to uncover a grade from a class taken Pass/D/Fail from Fall 2015 (CC only) is January 29.  Send an email to registrar@columbia.edu with the course information (call number, section, and course number) and copy your advising dean on the email.

Careers for International Students Focus Groups (2/1-2/9)

International @ Columbia, the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) and the Center for Career Education are hosting 4 focus groups on careers for international students. The purpose of the focus group is to learn more about 1) how international students make career-related decisions (including choosing a major), and 2) how/when they navigate career-related resources (such as CCE services/CCE website as well as ISSO information that's relevant to employment).

Stressbusters Spring 2016 Training

Stressbusters is a group of student volunteers who provide free neck and back rubs for the Columbia community. Stressbusters participate in a number of events throughout the academic year, whether it’s a weekly event such as Melt Away Mondays in Wallach Lounge, or events requested by groups and organizations around campus. Stressbusters not only provide a much needed health service to Columbians, but they also have the opportunity to engage in professional development such as learning active listening skills or  attending the BACCHUS General Assembly conference.

Academic Opportunity for Sophomores: Mellon-Mays Undergraduate Fellowship

This program provides research training, faculty mentorship and financial support for Columbia College underrepresented minority students and other College students with a demonstrated commitment to racial diversity who wish to pursue a Ph.D. and whose intellectual and social commitments embody those of the late Dr. Benjamin Mays.

There will be an information session on Monday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. in 202 Hamilton Hall.
